Final Images
These are the images I have chosen for my final, I like them because they show 4 different types of bins and the fact that I have given them character and created a sort of humourous series, "A Couple of Rubbish Photos"
Second Shoot
For my second shoot I did much of the same, drawing faces on rubbish bins. This time I tried to get a variety of faces which worked well but still took a couple of goes to get them right.
Some Photos I liked
These are two of the images I'm contemplating on using for my final as they are pretty well done and the faces on the bins look cool. I just have to decide what one I want ...
First Shoot
So for my First shoot I focused mainly on one spot which had a range of rubbish bins. It took me a couple of shots to get a perfect face and it was pretty hard to do, plus my LEDs kept on dying. I am trying to decide between the sad rubbish bin and the angry rubbish bin because they both turned out pretty good but they are on the same bin so i won't be able to use both of them.

Research
What I find awesome about these pictures is that the people making these photos are turning everyday inanimate objects into lifelike creatures or robot like things by giving them arms and eyes etc. My favourite one is the photo with the two rubbish bins because it is simple but well done and gives a great effect. The photo of the phone box thing on the telephone pole I thought was quite clever because of the way they gave it legs and arms which made it look as if it was standing and almost leaning in the telephone pole.
Proposal
For Project 3 I was thinking about using light graffiti to alter or change an object to make it almost come alive, for example giving arms to a rubbish bin or eyes to a bench. I will use long exposures and LEDs to achieve this. I think this will be a lot of fun to do.

Final Photos
These photos I have chosen for the final because I feel they really contrast the Day/Night difference and really feel they fit my proposal. The photo of the bike I like because of the rubbish in the night photo. it really shows that it is the end of the day. The people sitting on the benches I like becasue it shows how much the benches are used during the different times and how more people use it during the day.
Shoot 5
So for Shoot 5 I took some final photos during the day just to make sure I got the most out of the day and then I moved on to the night photos. I found that the benches weren't being filled as much as they were during the day, and there were a lot more people socialising and drinking at night. Rubbish was being taken out so I tried to incorporate that into some of my photos because It seemed like it could work. Using a long shutter at night really showed the human traffic because people walking past came out as blurry people which sort of gave a very fast- paced feel to them and also made it feel like the night life was very active.
Shoot 4
For shoot 4 I tried to incorporate some people into my photos to really show the day life of Cuba St and how it looks during the day.
Shoot 3
For my second shoot I was really still looking for some cool photos that really captured Cuba st during the day. The photo of the bike stand I really liked because of the way it was framed and just how the photo looked.

Possible photos to Contrast
These are some photos that stood out to me because of the way they were set out and also the people or lack of people in them. These photos might be the ones I reshoot at night to compare the day and night life of these particular areas.
Second Shoot
This is my second Shoot, in this shoot I was looking for interesting shots that I could contrast as day and night shots.
